Martin Osinski Presented With the National Association of Physician Recruiters Most Anticipated President’s Award for the Second Time

San Antonio, TX – April 21, 2006 – At the most recent National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR) 2006 Annual Convention held in San Antonio, TX, at the Hilton Palacio del Rio, April 19-21, 2006, Martin Osinski of American Medical Consultants, Miami, FL, was presented the 2006 President’s Award, NAPR’s most distinguished honor bestowed upon an individual. Osinski was previously presented with this honor in 1991 as well.

The NAPR President’s Award is bestowed upon a NAPR member for unselfishly giving of his time, knowledge and creativity to support NAPR in its mission to promote ethical standards and deliver services with the highest level of excellence possible. This honor is awarded to an individual each year at the NAPR Annual Convention and is chosen by the NAPR President based on the level of commitment and dedication to NAPR and its mission.

NAPR President Sandi Brewer, Carolinas Healthcare System, stated prior to presenting the award that, “my predecessors warned me that selecting the recipient would be extremely difficult; however, it so happens that I have been fortunate during this year to work with an outstanding individual who has taken a leadership role to ensure that NAPR continues to move ahead.”

Osinski has a long-standing history with his involvement with NAPR. As the current Secretary/Treasurer for the organization, his past roles and responsibilities have included serving as NAPR President in 1992; serving as Chair of the Convention Committee multiples times, as well as participating on the Arbitration and Ethics Committees. It is this type of dedication to NAPR that has enabled him to be awarded with the President’s Award twice in the past 15 years, a feat only two other NAPR members have also accomplished.

After being presented with the award, Osinski stated, “My involvement with NAPR over the years has provided me with new networking opportunities, new knowledge, and many good friends. I’ve certainly gotten much more out of this relationship than I’ve given.” Mr. Osinski anticipates continuing to serve NAPR as he has done since becoming involved with NAPR in 1987. “There’s no better incubator for new ideas than time spent with my peers at NAPR conferences and meetings,” says Osinski.

The National Association of Physician Recruiters, founded in 1984, is a membership organization consisting of professional physician recruiting firms, hospitals, medical groups, and healthcare organizations. It is the purpose of the NAPR to maintain industry leadership by promoting excellence, ethical standards, innovation, and a spirit of cooperation in the delivery of services to the healthcare industry.
