Full Service

American Medical Consultants will assist in the scheduling and preparation for candidate visits. We follow up with physicians regularly after they begin practice to assure a smooth transition. The AMC offices are open day and evening. Normal business hours are from 9:00am to 6:00 pm (EDT) Monday through Friday, and evenings from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday through Wednesday.

Experience

AMC associates have post graduate degrees or extensive education in the healthcare field and a minimum of 20 years experience in the healthcare industry specializing in Nephrology placement.

MARTIN OSINSKI,M.B.A., A.V.A.

With over twenty years of Healthcare recruitment experience, Mr. Osinski is the founder and CEO of American Medical Consultants (AMC). Formed In 1996, AMC primarily focuses on servicing all recruitment, placement and valuation aspects for Nephrology practices and clinics throughout the United States. A renowned Nephrology Industry expert, Osinski has led Fellowship presentations nationwide and is a regular speaker at the Renal Physicians Association Fellows Forum. He is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology. Mr. Osinski’s articles have been published within numerous industry journals including Medical Group Management Journal, Nephrology News & Issues, Unique Opportunities, Minnesota Physician, Journal of the American Medical Association, Medical Economics, HealthPlan Magazine. Mr. Osinski also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Nephrology News & Issues. Most recently, Mr. Osinski has received certification from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and is now an Accredited Valuation Analysts trained to do Medical Practice Valuations.

Prior to forming AMC, Osinski was the President of National Health Search, inc., a contingency physician-recruiting firm. He is also a past President of the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), served on their Ethics Committee and has been a frequent speaker at NAPR conventions. He continues to serve on their Board (as Secretary/Treasurer) and Ethics Committee. He also served as the NAPR’S liaison with the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Mr. Osinski has recently been involved in the development of a combined NAPR/MGMA First Year Physician Compensation Survey that will appear in the annual MGMA Physician Compensation and Production Survey.

Mr. Osinski has been recognized in the “Who’s Who In World,” “Who’s Who In the America” and “Who’s Who In Medicine and Healthcare” He served on the BLUEPRINT 2000 committee for the Miami Dade County Public School system and is involved in other community activities. He earned both his MBA and Bachelor’s degree In Business Administration, from the University of Miami In Coral Gables, Florida.

PATSY ANDERS

Ms. Anders also has over twenty years experience working within the Nephrology and Dialysis Industries. Most recently, she has served as Vice President of Marketing for Renal CarePartners, Inc. a Dialysis corporation with units throughout the East Coast. From 1995 to 2001 Ms. Anders was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Renex Corporation., a publicly traded Dialysis company that was sold in January 2000.

In 1988, Ms. Anders was Director of Physician Relations for one of the first Home Dialysis Corporations in this country. She later held that same position for Quality Care Dialysis Centers before the sale of that company. During that time she also founded Anders and Associates, a physician recruiting firm, where she was actively involved in the recruitment of physicians prior to joining Renex Corp.

Since 1981, when Ms Anders began her Healthcare career she has successfully recruited numerous physicians to positions throughout the country.

Mary Comerford, RN

Mary is the owner and founder of Mebco Services Inc., a healthcare consulting firm that specializes in management recruiting, workforce planning, and recruitment branding. For the past five years, she has worked with some of the nephrology industry’s leading firms to assist them with the development of their recruitment programs. Particular areas of focus included marketing, teambuilding, branding, metrics and website development. In addition to providing contract recruiters, Mary has placed hundreds of healthcare executives, nurse practitioners, business development /sales professionals, financial professionals, human resources professionals and clinicians in the field of nephrology.

Mary’s 25 year nephrology career progressed from RN to Clinical Manager to Facility Administrator to Regional Administrator to Divisional Vice President. In addition to her work in nephrology, Mary has held executive sales positions in the fields of liver dialysis, home care and home infusion. She has been involved in a number of start-ups and partnered in a highly successful multi-dimensional home care company, Healix Healthcare. Mary has also served as Vice President of Marketing for a large managed care organization and Chief Operating Officer for a publicly held regional home health care company.

Mary’s success has stemmed from her vast experience with the national health care delivery systems of hospitals, clinics, home care and managed care companies. This has given her a unique understanding of the culture, goals and functionality of the roles to be filled across the many diverse businesses of the healthcare industry.
